Street & Sidewalk Permit

Event organizers wishing to close streets or sidewalks as part of their event are required to apply for a special use of street and sidewalk permit. The application must be submitted at least 90 days prior to the requested closure, and specify:
  • Assembly points
  • Date(s)
  • Number and types of participants
  • Route
  • Start and end times
The permit fee is dependent upon the number of participants. Events that are not requesting a closure, but have the potential to impact the community’s use of street and sidewalks may also be subject to the requirements of the special use of street and sidewalk permit.
