City Seeks Public Comment on Draft 2022 Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP)

The City of Wilsonville is seeking public comments on its Draft 2022 Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP).  This plan is a requirement of the City’s National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit reissued by Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) in 2022.  The NPDES MS4 permit applies to 10 jurisdictions throughout Clackamas County.  The objective of the permit is to improve the water quality of the streams and rivers throughout Oregon by regulating stormwater discharges to surface waters.  Wilsonville’s SWMP details how the City will protect our local streams and the Willamette River from stormwater pollution.
