Street Maintenance Program FY 2025-2028
Wilsonville's Annual Street Maintenance Program guides the planning, design, and construction of street surface rehabilitation projects necessary to maintain a safe and reliable street network throughout Wilsonville. This page details the next three years of planned street maintenance across Wilsonville.
Summer 2025: Slurry Sealing in Villebois and the Park at Merryfield
Starting Thursday, July 31 (subject to change), the City will begin slurry sealing streets in Villebois, Park at Merryfield, and nearby neighborhoods. Slurry sealing involves spreading a thin layer of asphalt, mixed with water and tiny gravel, over the road surface to fill in small cracks, smooth out bumps, protect the road from water and sun damage, improve traction for cars and bikes, and extend the useful life of our roadways.
The work takes about 10 weekdays to complete. It is scheduled to begin on July 31 and conclude on Wednesday, Aug. 13. Any schedule changes will be communicated by the contractor to those homes affected. Those updates will also appear on this page.

What This Means for Residents
Though the entire project will take two weeks to complete, each street to be resurfaced will be closed for just one day, between 7 am-5 pm) to provide time for trucks to spread the slurry seal carefully and evenly over the street and to provide time for the surface to dry. Crew members will guide traffic as needed and keep things safe.
On the day your street is resurfaced:
- No driving, parking, or walking on the street is allowed between 7 am and 5 pm.
- Vehicles located in garages/driveways will not have access to the street after 7 am; cars should be moved to neighboring streets if needed that day.
- A vehicle parked on the street after 7 am on the morning work is scheduled will be towed so the crews can work safely and efficiently
Please plan ahead by parking the night before on a nearby street outside the work zone to avoid towing/lack of access.
How to Stay Informed:
- No Parking signs will be posted on streets scheduled for resurfacing 72 hours before work begins.
- Door hangers with exact dates and details will be left at each residence.
- Contractors may visit to remind residents to remove vehicles.
Thanks for Your Patience
Work areas have been staggered to help ensure adequate street parking. because we understand how disruptive road closures can be, and don’t take your inconvenience lightly. Thanks for your cooperation, which will help us finish this work quickly and keep our roadways safer and smoother for years to come.
Throughout the project, we are working with the U.S. Postal Service and Republic Services to avoid service delays. Trash and recycling bins should be curbside by 6 am on scheduled pickup days. If needed, crews will move bins to accessible areas and return them after pickup. Mail and package deliveries will continue with coordination from the contractors.
