Engelman Park was completed in 2013 after the city was awarded a local government grant from Oregon State Parks to cover the cost of design and construction of this expanded neighborhood park.

The park, formerly known as Montebello Park, has a nature-based play theme and serves the surrounding neighborhoods.

The following are prohibited in City parks:

  • inflatables (including bounce houses)
  • dunk tanks
  • water balloons
  • water slides
  • egg toss
  • open flames (except for barbeque grills)
    • Barbeque grills may be brought into park facilities but must be gas-powered and must be placed on concrete/asphalt.  Barbeque grills are not provided in City parks.
