What is Pickleball?

Have you heard the buzz about the sport of Pickleball? It's a paddle game, played with a wiffle-like ball over a net, that appeals to all ages because it's fun and good exercise.

Pickleball is a sport that is:

  • Family Friendly - suitable for all ages, genders, body types and athletic abilities.
  • Body Friendly - good exercise that is relatively easy on the knees, hips, neck, elbows and back.
  • Social – generally played as a doubles game with partners changing after every game so it is not necessary to come with a “partner”.
  • Challenging - strategy and skill are essential components for success, with recreational players showing quick improvement in a short period, and higher skill levels challenged by tough tournament competition both locally and nationally.
  • FUN - from the first time you play, you will hit the ball and enjoy the experience!

Court Usage

Pickleball and tennis courts are available on a first come, first serve basis except when there are scheduled Wilsonville Parks & Recreation camps or programs as well as previously permitted use by the Department, which have first priority.

Please limit court usage to 60 minutes when others are waiting.

Pickleball only courts should be used first for pickleball until filled so that tennis players may still access the tennis courts.

Please note: PlayTime Scheduler is a communication tool, not a court reservation system. Creating a session on that site does not give special rights to courts in this park.
