Year-Round Recreational Programs

Youth programs strive to make a difference in the lives of our community’s children. The City employs and contracts with highly-trained, professional staff and volunteers who embrace quality and establish high standards for the effective delivery of recreational and educational services for the community's youth.Year-round recreation programs provide a place where kids belong, and where they can come together to play and socialize in a safe environment.

Summer Programs

Summer is an exciting time with numerous camps and special programs for children of all ages. Skyhawks Sports Academies and Coach Nic's Basketball offer week-long summer sports camps for children. The summer time is also a great time to check out a non-sport camp offerings.

Mini Hoopers

Wilsonville Parks and Recreation is also home to the Mini Hoopers basketball program. This program is open to first and second graders and takes place October through December. Registration opens mid-August.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund?
  • You are entitled to a 100% refund if the City of Wilsonville cancels the class.
  • You are entitled to a 100% minus a $5 administrative fee if you request a refund prior to the first class.
  • In lieu of a refund you may request a class credit and the $5 administrative fee will be waived.
  • After a class has begun, you may request a credit for a future class minus a $5.00 admin fee.
  • After the second session of a class, credits for a future class may be granted only for illness or medical reasons (at the discretion of the Director), no refunds will be given. Credits are nonrefundable once issued and must be used prior to June 30.

Can I register for classes over the phone?

We are not able to take class registrations by phone due to the liability & photo release. However, you can register online, walk in, fax to 503-682-9062 or 503-682-2995, or mail your registration to:

I wanted to sign up for a class, why was it cancelled?

Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment up to one week in advance. We strongly encourage participants to register early in order to avoid class cancellations.

There is inclement weather, will there be class?

All programs follow Wilsonville/West Linn School closures. If the schools are closed due to inclement weather, no community programs will take place. If severe weather is forecasted, call Community Services at 503-682-3727 to find out if a specific program has been cancelled or changed.
