Memorial Park Nature Play Project

About the project

Nature Play areas are outdoor spaces designated for play that are made of natural components. Parks and Recreation created fenced nature play area in Memorial Park which is roughly 20,000 sqft. The Nature Play area includes logs, stepping pods, a balance beam, a dry river bed, boulders, a sand box, a fort-making area, and benches. All materials used were locally sourced.
