Frog Pond Neighborhood Park - Opening Soon!
Natural landscape and community gathering space
Frog Pond West Neighborhood Park is envisioned as a neighborhood-focused community space that balances recreation, nature, and environmental education. The 2.8 acre park will include a playground for young children, picnic shelter, adult fitness area, open lawn, small performance stage, and a network of paved and unpaved walking paths that connect visitors to surrounding trees and meadow landscapes. Designed to complement the character of the Frog Pond West neighborhood, the park creates opportunities for both active recreation and quiet enjoyment of nature.
A defining feature of the park is its naturalized planting palette, which incorporates native and climate-adapted vegetation intended to attract birds, pollinators, and other local wildlife. Meadow plantings and habitat-focused landscaping will support biodiversity while providing opportunities for nature-based learning and interpretation for nearby residents and students. The park’s design reflects the City of Wilsonville’s commitment to sustainability, ecological stewardship, and creating public spaces that feel connected to the Pacific Northwest landscape.
